If you are aged 16-18 then you have some exciting choices to make. At Rocket Training we can offer you training in either a Study Programme  or you may want to consider a Pre-Apprenticeship or Apprenticeship.

What is an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships:

Apprenticeships are a great opportunity to get on-the-job skills, working towards a recognised qualification and to earn whilst you learn. Whether you want to work in Business Administration, Customer Service or Horticulture; Rocket Training has the right course for you. Completing an apprenticeship can take between 12 - 18 months, depending on the course.

We have excellent working relationships with around 120 employers across Merseyside and currently have 130 apprentices working towards Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications.

Progression Routes:

On completing your Level 2 or 3 apprenticeship , you could go onto further education or take up a new job role. Take a look at some of the career paths you could pursue on completing your apprenticeship.

What are Study Programmes?

Study Programmes at Rocket Training are personalised programmes designed to help you decide on a career and develop the skills to get that career. Study Programmes all include work experience as well as vocational qualifications, Maths, English and Information Technology.

We specialise in programmes that will help you get employment in Business Administration, Customer Service, Retail, Warehousing Motor Vehicle Engineering and Horticulture.

Progression Routes:

Most young people who join Rocket want to gain employment in their chosen career area. We will help you do that through that by developing your skills and knowledge and enabling you to put the skills into practice in a real work placement. Many of our work placements provide employment and Apprenticeships.

Pre Apprenticeship:

New for 2017 is our Pre Apprenticeship programme. A short programme to help you brush up on your interview skills, and provide you with opportunities to apply for vacancies. With the support of our experienced tutors and recruitment.
